Gold characters are very rare, gold versions of the regular characters. Unlike normal characters, these gold ones cannot be purchased. The only way to get them is to keep unlocking mystery boxes and you'll eventually obtain a gold one.
A gold character is the same shape as the normal version, but the color of the character and the item it collects is changed to solid gold. The gold character will also have its own catch phrase, usually "Ultra Rare!"
